Twilight Series 2017-03-08

CAFM is presented a Twilight Series event on March 8, 2017 at Two Roads Brewing Company in Stratford, Connecticut with two presentations:

Many CAFM members  asked for a presentation on substantial damage.  The first presentation, Substantial Damage Provisions in the NFIP regulations and Use of the Substantial Damage Estimator Tool, reviewed the pertinent regulations and provide a demonstration on how to perform substantial damage estimation following a flood.  Mr. Juan Nieves of Dewberry was on hand to present and take your questions.

Secondly, DeVooght House Lifters presented on home elevation.  This presentation will cover the steps to a successful flood mitigation project involving elevation, which is becoming more common as a way to counter rising flood insurance rates.
