A total of 32 attendees were kind enough to fill out our evaluation form, and based on those responses our overall conference rating was 90%! Based on the responses received, the conference was very well received. We attempted to delineate between riverine/general talks and coastal-specific talks in our concurrent sessions per evaluations received following the 2014 conference. Mr. David Vallee’s (NOAA) opening address was particularly well received (88% strongly liked it) with other strong likes being Ms. Diane Ifkovic’s (CT DEEP) NFIP update, the Community Rating System panel, the keynote presentation by Ms. Rozelle Henn (USACE) regarding the North Atlantic Coast Study, and the Post-Sandy recovery update. We also received numerous comments on what the strong points of the conference were, where we can improve next year, and the subjects that attendees are interested in hearing about over the next year.
